We stayed at La Selva Biological Station for two nights and had an amazing and immersive rainforest experience. The rooms exceeded our expectations, with a lovely balcony where we could watch wildlife and thunderstorms. The 20-minute walk to the canteen was enjoyable as there was always something interesting to see along the way. The free guided tour with an experienced bird guide was a highlight, where we saw numerous bird species and even sloths. The food was delicious and it was fascinating to meet the scientists conducting research here. Highly recommend this hotel for a unique wildlife opportunity.
